There is a season to all things under heaven, they say.
I’m picking up where I left off when ArtCenter College of Design released me in 1998 with a Fine Art degree. Things were different then. There was so much ahead. And now, so much behind.
As we mature, we become different thinkers. We are grateful for every day. We paint knowing we can always paint over. And we know the best work is imperfect. And all of this goes into the canvas.
When we do what we love, it blesses our whole life. Our health reflects it. Our relationships do as well. When we’re happy, good things happen. We wake up excited. The work? Who knows where my paintings will go, how my process will develop, or who will see them. I am expecting miracles.
I work in my small studio in Sierra Madre, California. If you want to join me, check out Sacred Play. It’s my solution to art making done in isolation. Together we go farther, see more and grow deeper.
I live at the intersection of creativity and spirit. Always looking to play beyond. The magic is there. Waiting. Being still and willing is all it takes.

About the Work
Abstract painting is, by nature, a conversation. My work unfolds through feeling rather than sight - a dialogue between intuition and response. Each image marks a moment; every version a conversation complete for now.
Some paintings resolve quickly; others return to the studio, inviting another layer, another listening. Earlier gestures remain visible as new ones are added. Time is not measured, but felt in the history that is expressed.
Formally trained in Fine Art at ArtCenter College of Art, my practice is grounded in craft and discipline, then guided by trust, presence and play. This same relational approach informs Sacred Play.
Each painting's evolution is documented. A purchase includes the finished, signed piece along with images of its earlier versions - an archive of the journey that brought it forth, its life to date.
