Client Agreement

  • I look forward to partnering with you during our coaching sessions and supporting your professional and personal growth. Here are some procedural guidelines to keep things running smoothly...

    • Scheduling. Usually we'll schedule our next session when we're together. But if we don't, go to www.LORiKOOP.com > "Clients" to schedule. An email reminder will come the day before.
    • Environment. We both show up for the appointment on time. Please call me from a quiet location.
    • Session lengths are agreed upon in advance. I sometimes go over time. There is no additional charge when this happens. I prefer completing concepts / tools in a session. If you have a hard stop, please let me know when we start.
    • Communication during session. Please be aware that sometimes we get stuck in stories. In order to move forward, I may stop and redirect the conversation. It is not personal. I want you to find peace asap.
    • Confidentiality. Our coaching conversations are confidential. Information may be shared outside of our sessions only with your written consent or in the event that a Court Judge requires it. Also note that on occasion, coaching content is shared anonymously for learning.
    • Payment. Payment is due before we meet. I prefer Venmo, account "LoriKoop." I also take Paypal, send to: Lori@LORiKOOP.com. My rate is $150/session.
    • Cancellation. To cancel an appointment, text my cell at 626-733-1667. Please give 48 hrs advanced notice if you can.
    • No Show. I will hold our scheduled appointment open for 15 minutes after the expected start time unless I hear from you. After that time, the session is forfeited.
    • Communication between sessions. Feel free to send an email between sessions should an urgency arise: Lori@LORiKOOP.com.
    • Terminating Relationship. Either party may terminate at any time. Keep in mind, prepaid fees are non-refundable.
    • Taxes. At year-end, a cumulative receipt for the year can be emailed out for tax purposes, if requested. Deduct as appropriate.
    • Coaching vs. Psychotherapy. Coaching is meant to uplift, challenge and support. It is not psychotherapy. Nor is a coach a psychotherapist. Tools, comments and ideas are offered solely for the purpose of reaching goals. Client remains responsible for any and all choices and decisions, and for personal wellbeing during, after and between sessions.
