When I’m in a tough relationship,
and I want to stay in “my business”
It doesn’t mean I don’t care.
I am avoiding. Or ignoring.
That I agree with what’s going on.
That I don’t grieve.
It means I understand what I’m feeling.
And I feel it.
Then I choose
~ It shouldn’t be like this.
* He should be doing this.
> She shouldn’t be doing that.
(and suffer)
Or not.
When I stay in “my business,”
I remain connected to my true self.
My inner wisdom. To peace.
And there is my power.
God, grant me the serenity
to accept the things I cannot change;
the courage to change the things I can;
and the wisdom to know the difference.
